Sometimes in Tokyo, with green hair. Sometimes in the U.S.A with powerful energy.
Sometimes funny, sometimes elegant, and sometimes traveling everywhere with love like the typhoon from Asia, little Japan!
Cherry Typhoon originally was a drama director in Tokyo, Japan, since 1999.
In 2003, with EVA of MURASAKI babydoll, Cherry(Vivace) made a dance troupe named ‘MURASAKI babydoll’.
As soon as started the performance with colorful babydoll costume and color wig like neon sign of Tokyo, MURASAKI babydoll had became one of the ‘neon’ of Tokyo midnight club scene.
What makes MURASAKI babydoll’s performance unique is the choreograph of them.
As one of the choreographer, Cherry made a lot of funny , cute, and curious dance.
In 2005, When Murasaki babydoll attended ‘That’s Cabaret in NY’, Vivace was deeply moved by the great burlesque dancers, enjoyed their act, and made a decision to be a solo burlesque dancer.
In 2006, at MEW, MURASAKI babydoll awarded one of ‘the best troupe’.
And after that at Galapagos art space in Brooklyn, Vivace got a prize for Miss Galapagonza 2006 June burlesque queen!
All the people at there say-‘ Tiny typhoon!!’
This is the origin of Vivace’s Solo-stagename…’The Cherry typhoon’!
